LK99 - potential game changer

Have you heard of LK99? It is a groundbreaking discovery that has the potential to change the world. LK99 is a potential Room-Temperature Superconductor whereas other superconductors before this typically needed to be cooled to cryogenic temperatures. This is a major breakthrough that could have a significant impact on a wide range of technologies, including energy efficiency, nuclear fusion, and quantum computing.

LK-99 is a lead-copper-phosphate compound developed by a team from Korea University in Seoul.. The discovery of LK99 is still in its early stages, and more research is needed to confirm its properties. However, the potential implications of this discovery are enormous. If LK99 can be reproduced and scaled up, it could revolutionize the way we generate, transmit, and store energy. It could also make nuclear fusion reactors more feasible and lead to the development of new quantum computers.

Now a team at Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China claim to have also made LK-99 samples that levitate under a magnetic field at room temperature and pressure. So maybe, just maybe, room temperature and pressure superconductors might be possible.
